Let me introduce you to myself, Marcia Kralik, the Agency Manager of Adair County Insurance Agency of Greenfield.

I grew up in the Eastern section of Adair County from 1965 – 1981.  My parents, now deceased, owned and operated a row-crop and livestock farm, taking great pride in showing cattle regularly at open shows and the county fair.  My brother, sister and I all participated in the family farm in various labor capacities and all took part in showing livestock at the Adair County Fair, better known as “the best time of the year”.  Today, the farm operation remains within the family ownership as our parents would have always desired.  Being raised on the farm, I am a true believer, there is no better place to raise a family and no better place to teach children the true value of responsibility and work ethic.

Today, my husband and I reside on an acreage in Union county where we have raised two children.  Our son continues his passion in the farming industry through row crop and a cow-calf livestock operation.  Carrying on the family tradition is admirable as he is now teaching his children the same family values and passion of the true farm family life.

This background simply compounds the desire to reside in a rural community where one can appreciate the ever changing seasons.  There is no better time of year when spring arrives and the fields are prepared for planting.  Later we continue through the summer months and anticipate the beautiful landscape of fields growing and developing.  As time progresses to fall, we then think that’s the best time of year as the scenery changes once again and the fields are harvested and reap the bounty of a successful season.

These reasons alone resonate why the importance of insurance coverage is so vital to our community and individual lives.  As young people, we have no interest nor see any need to have this type of protection.  However, as our lives progress, we begin to understand the importance of protecting our most valuable possessions – that of our family and our personal possessions – whether this includes a home, our automobiles, or an entire farming operation.

Being an insurance Agent validates our purpose to our community.  These are our friends and family.   We have an opportunity to serve them with quality insurance protection locally, right here in Adair County.  We consider it a privilege and an honor to provide this type of service so that everyone can sleep peacefully at night knowing they have proper insurance protection… if they are awakened to an unforeseen event…we are their local insurance Agency and will be right here to assist them.
